What is BBB, and how it works?BBB supports sharing of slides (PDF and PPT), video, whiteboard, chat, voice (using Asterisk), and desktops. It's built using over fifteen open source components, runs on Mac, Unix, and PC computers, and is backed by an open source community that cares about good design and a streamlined user experience.
Do I need to register to setup meetings?Yes. You need to first Sign-in as a Buddy, and then login to your account before creating meetings.
How to register using Google or Facebook login?If you have a valid Google ID or Facebook Login, then you can directly use those login to register and create meetings. Your login credentials are directly validated by those websites, and we do NOT validate or store your login data. We receive only your name and email for communication purposes.
Can anyone join my meeting?Yes. When you create a meeting, you need to setup a meeting password. We generate MeetingId which you will share with anyone who wants to join your meeting. Share your meeting password with only who you wish to include in the meeting.
Is there a limit on number of participants per meeting?The max number of participants in a meeting is 25. This is more than sufficient in many cases. The limit is to avoid system overloads, and misuse. This limit is also much higher than pricey websites that charge sky high rates for more participants.
Do we need to install any application to attend meetings?No. The meeting runs using Flash technology. Does not need any application installed
Is there a cost to conduct meetings?No. Its FREE to Register and Create your Meetings.
Can I record these meetings?Not yet.. We are working on it.
Can I delete unwanted meetings?Yes. If you want to delete a meeting that you no longer need, you can go to My Meetings list and delete it. Please remember to notify anyone, if you have sent this meeting invite. If the meeting was already used in a session, then you cannot delete it.
How do I setup Recurring meetings?We understand the need to repeat meetings on a periodic basis, like weekly status updates that happens exactly same time every week. To setup recurring meeting, after you create a new meeting, go to My Meetings and click on any MeetingID. Specify your meeting frequency and other relevant details, then click update.
Can I setup email reminder for the meetings?Yes. Currently, this option is available only for recurring meetings. If you wish to setup a meeting reminder, go to My Meetings and click on specify MeetingID. Update the recurring setup, and check the email reminder box.
